the next-generation Data-over-Cable Service Interface Specifications
(DOCSIS) Broadband Processing Engine (BPE) for the Cisco uBR7246VXR
universal broadband router. The card provides two downstream ports
and eight upstream ports configured in two independent CMTS MAC
domains.
The Cisco uBR-MC28U/X card supports DOCSIS 1.1 and EuroDOCSIS 1.1
Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) modulation profiles, and
improved Radio Frequency (RF) performance, higher performance, and
advanced spectrum management capabilities. The card supports the
Advanced Time Division Multiple Access (A-TDMA) modulation profiles
used in DOCSIS 2.0 and EuroDOCSIS 2.0 networks.
