Marconi TNX-210/AC Base Configuration includes 2.5 Gbps switch fabric, 4 netmod slots, redundant AC power supplies, and redundant 400 MHz switch control processor (32 MB flash, 256 MB DRAM). Includes dual power supplies. SCPs and network modules sold separately.

The Marconi TNX-210 makes up the TNX family of multiservice broadband switches, which are designed for service providers (SPs) that require non-blocking performance, maximum flexibility, and resiliency. The TNX family offers advanced reliability features, as well as intelligent partitioning and continuous investment protection. TNX switches feature advanced traffic management that significantly enhances SP network performance, enabling each traffic flow to be monitored and managed. This enables SPs to manage multiple levels of services (for voice, video, and data) to their customers so that each service level agreement (SLA) can be managed at the virtual circuit (VC) level - thus optimizing bandwidth usage and maximizing revenue. The TNX-210 switch is built on Marconi's award-winning technology. The TNX family's common system components consist of load-sharing power supplies and switch control processors (SCPs). All field-replaceable components - including power supplies, common equipment modules, SCPs, network modules, and switch fabrics - are hot swappable. The addition or replacement of key components can be performed while the system is operational, maximizing system availability and facilitating system maintenance and repair.
